After the Festival, the Rains Arrive, and a New Leaf...

Another Dahlia Festival has come and gone—and what a beautiful season it was! 🌸✨

This year’s festival brought together friends, families, and flower lovers from near and far. Over 500,000 dahlias bloomed in all their glory, and we’re so grateful to everyone who walked our fields, snapped photos, posed for some selfies with the mural, danced to the music, enjoyed the food, and celebrated the magic of dahlias with us. You are what makes this festival so special, year after year. Thank you from the bottom of our flower-filled hearts! 💐

Now, as the rains return and the skies shift to fall, our fields are officially closed for the season. The blooms have said their goodbyes, and we’re turning over a new leaf here on the farm. 🍂

With the change in weather comes a new rhythm. We’ll be busy preparing for fall and winter—digging, storing, and dividing our dahlias to ensure a strong, healthy start for next spring. At the same time, we’re also turning that “new leaf” toward something extra special: our Holiday Open House on November 7 & 8, 2025. Think twinkling décor, holiday gifts, festive cheer, and yes—you can gift blooms to brighten the season.

The farm may look quieter now, but behind the scenes, we’re working hard to keep the magic alive—through every season.

As always, we’re grateful for your support, your smiles, and your love of dahlias. We can’t wait to welcome you back soon—for the holidays and beyond!

With gratitude and blooms,
🌸 The Swan Island Dahlias Family
