Pure white blossoms are a perfect cut flower size at 5". Oregonians love our local mountains, especially Mt. Hood. You can even catch a glimpse of the beautiful mountain across our fields of dahlias, as its white caps shine, growing to a 4' plant.

Bloom Time: Average (90 days)
Bloom Style:
- Formal Decorative
Color: White
Year Introduced: 2021
Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

Not only was the one of my first to bloom and most prolific, it’s been my absolute favorite for bouquets. Beautiful form and ridiculously long, strong stems.
I must admit, I prefer bright colored flowers. Bought Mt. Hood just to try something outside of my color preference a couple years ago and this one has never been a disappointment. Last summer (2024) it was the first to bloom and this summer (2025) it grew beautifully, once again, under the worst of weather conditions. If your looking for a white dahlia with sturdy stems for cutting and continual blooms, this one is for you.
This one is gorgeous! Strong stems, perfect for cutting. Continuous blooms until freeze. I just cut what will probably be my last bouquet for my Thanksgiving table. I can’t stress enough how lovely this dahlia is.
I don't always like white dahlias, and I don't always love formal dahlias. And yet - this dahlia is breathtaking. It is a real stunner. It should receive much more attention IMO! Just gorgous, long, straight, strong stems - wow. I grew 212 dahlias this year, and 105 difference varieties - and this was absolutely one of the stars.
Unusual. I know that’s a weird thing to say about a white flower. But I have approximately 15 white Dahlia in my collection.
This one is unique, the rounded petals And it’s magnolia like fleshy-ness Really set this one apart. Very pleased.
