KABLOOM

The blooms on this were stunning, however, the plant was massive. Too tall - over 6 feet - for me in my garden. I'll try it again, and pinch it back hard maybe?

I'd give this all 5 stars, but mine never developed the split ends, otherwise it was perfect and one of my 5 all time favorite dahlias. The color was as seen in the photo, it blended with everything and was highly productive, even though I plant my dahlias much closer than suggested. Because of my planting technique, and foggy weather in late August my entire crop, over 100 dahlias developed downy mildew. but I was undeterred, I cut the plants by half their height, pulled all the leaves, and sprayed them. Now in late September they are leafing out and showing buds. You can't keep a good plant down.
