7" blooms of a rich, deep coral. Works especially well in large arrangements, it grows on a 4' plant which produces nice cutting stems. Another "must have" for cutflower enthusiasts in an unusual color.

Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

Words cannot say how stunning this flower is. A strong pinkish color with yellow tinged orange in the center as flower evolves bringing it closer to the Coral affect. As the flower evolves further the back half pedals roll and turn to a light pinkish color showing each aspect front to back. Just wonderful, OMG, just love it. blooms above a long stem strong as an ox. Gladly seeing finally a wonderful array of blooms after a tough summer. Thank you SID for your fabulous Dalias.
Thank you to the first reviewer - I wondered if I had mislabeled the plant because my petals also are more flat than quilled. However the color is stunning, a great mix of orange and pink, perfect for my brother's upcoming wedding where his fiancee wants the theme to be "Bohemian Gypsy". Also lovely in the garden, a tall plant. I grow a lot of subtle colored dahlias for most weddings, and delight in having a dahlia like this one with COLOR.
Pink tone flower, beautiful, but definitely not coral. I understand conditions play a role in the outcome of color and size. My biggest disappointment was the shape of the blooms which were not curled, but rather flat with only the slightest curve in the petals, and the layers of petals which did not produce full blooms.
The first few blooms of this dahlia were absolutely stunning. Definitely a keeper.
Wonderful color but more pink than coral. Buds galore. A winner for the garden.
