Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.
10" blooms in a soft delicate pink, which blend to white in the center. Flowers have excellent depth and angle, making this an excellent exhibition variety in the A size class. Plant height is 3' and if cut the blooms hold a long time.
This variety is a sport of Emory Paul with 12" - 14" pink with purple splashed blooms on strong stems. Plant height 4'. This variety can produce solid pink or purple blooms throughout the season.
The largest waterlily we offer. The 8" blooms are of soft lavender pink with a white frosting on the petal edges. The 5' plantes are strong and vigorous.

Gorgeous 10” pink blossoms blend to a white center. Very strong plant growing to 4'. This beauty was awarded the 2016 Derrill W. Hart Award by the American Dahlia Society for its outstanding blooms. In some weather conditions, this pink may show a lavender tone to the blossoms.

Performed poorly, bloomed too late
One of three plants grew enough to bloom, although it was so late in the year that I only got three flowers before an early frost which may have killed it. The other two only grew about a foot. I live in St Louis where the summers are very hot. This year was hot for about 2 weeks and the rest of the summer was mild. I don’t know why only one grew when they were planted at the same time. The one that grew was too late in the season. I will dig them up and plant them again next spring and hope for a better performance. The color of the flowers was spectacular.

Striking color
Gorgeous. This Dahlia is beautiful, yellow to peach and ombre style coloring out to coral, pink, and then purple on the ends. It almost looks fake. I’m ordering a bunch of these for next year to plant in my front border. It would be so great if these reviews could include pictures.
