Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

Bought this variety because I had space, the price was very good and I needed the color to match other Dahlia I grow.
Beautiful lavender blooms that fade to a beautiful lavender and white before finishing. Decent vase life. Prolific tuber producer for me. Look forward to next season.
Bought on a kind of a whim. Had space, liked the price and did not have this style on our garden.
Solid grower that produced beautiful 5-6 inch flowers. The lighter pedals that inlay the main pedals are wonderful.
Unfortunately this tuber was my only one that didn't grow for me. Last yr was my first time growing dahlias so I let the loss slide. I appreciate that SI stands behind their tubers though.
