I'm in zone 5 so short growing season. I find this plant to be bushy and very prolific bloomer with 2.5-3" blooms. Short stems but a long lasting cut flower. Contrasting red highlights early in the season are pretty.

Still not blooming, in October
The plant remained small, had little buds all summer, but have not opened yet. Don't know the problem. Other dahlias in the same area are growing and blooming just fine.
