IN MEMORY OF

This is a new favorite. Such beautiful blossoms that coordinate with so many other dahlias to offset the brighter colors. I love it paired with dreamcatcher in a vase. I am not fond of yellow flowers, but this one has just enough hint of yellow to let it rise to the top like fresh yellow cream! So grateful for this one.

I loved the creamy flush of yellow in the center, got lots of blooms. This is a 3rd year plant and the only neg for me is it gets a few more bugs than others.

First the good:
1.) This bloomed pretty early (mid-August in zone 7)
2.) The blooms are big and long-lasting
3.) Required minimal staking

And now for the not-so-good:
1.) The stems are pretty short, so not the greatest for cut arrangements
2.) The petals aren't really as shown -- they're larger, wider, without much of the "cupped" effect seen in the photos

That said, the plant is a set-your-watch-by-it producer, and I'll plant it again next year for sure.
