This dahlia is such a vigorous grower and bloomer. The plant is more than 6 feet tall and produces gorgeous blooms in abundance. The bloom color is so rich and unique. The plant has survived three light frosts and is still blooming here in zone 6. It’s the end of October and I can’t bring myself to cut down the plant to prepare the tubers for winter storage.

Lovely tall plant with no sign of any blooms this first year. I suspect I didn’t fertilize early enough, because this wasn’t my only failure—and even my successes were hardly prolific.

Really striking flowers. They aren't kidding about the height; this is a TALL flower. In my raised bed it was taller than I am. Much more prone to earwigs than my other dahlias for some reason. A very crisp yellow and orange; definitely clashes with pink/purple tones but works well with any red/orange. I loved these and will look forward to seeing them next year.

Very pretty buttery yellow with pink tips--got really tall and would have little bunches of 2-3 flowers on each stem, individual stems were rather short but I floated them on the tops of small cups and they were gorgeous!
