How to Grow

Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

This was my first year growing Miss Delilah and I absolutely adore her! She was one of the first to bloom and has cranked out blooms nonstop since June. Very healthy, bushy and compact plant. The blooms I have gotten are much more light pink/lavender than what is pictured but they are still gorgeous! I hope to grow this one again next year!

Beautiful dahlia. Miss Delilah looks as it is pictured. Especially after it blooms for a week. It started early in 2022. Hard to believe it has bloomed already. None of the other dahlias is close

My first year with this dahlia, The fist blooms this year were quite a bit lighter and not as bold pink. The later blooms are darker but still not as dark pink

This is one gorgeous dahlia and always brings out the ohs and ahs when viewed. I agree with the other reviewer that the picture doesn't adequately capture the beauty of this flower.

A Pretty Prolific Kind

Mine does not look like the picture. It is light pink and more like Prospero. If you stick to the picture look, it may not be for you. To me, it is pretty and prolific, and I like it.
