How to Grow
Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

True to its name, the native yellow faced bumble bees in my NW Oregon love these flowers!
Not a great cut flower for long vase, but but striking in the garden. I leave them for the bees instead.

I had to have this stunning flower. The plant is producing many flowers, as shown in catalog. Only disappointment is the blooms are smaller than most other dahlias, and only last about 2 days in vase before dropping pedals.

I planted this up on a hill in a large pot. She was like a security camera up there. Swaying and waving! Such a pretty girl. I need another one. Thank you team!!

I love this dahlia! I struggled with weather in zone 7 this year. Heat waves, torrential downpours for days. When these began to bloom, some were small. Some extra food, since they are in pots, and consistent watering has them blooming magnificently throughout September! The bumble bees are all over them as it gets cooler. I even haf a hummingbird stop by.
They are very tall and leggy. I would love to have them a little bushier.
I'm hoping to have more tubers to plant next year.

A first-year dahlia grower, I botched the childhood of this plant. Late summer she recovered, and Bumble began to Rumble! A most beautiful and happy burst of flowers, one flower was DOUBLE! Pollinators, including the little flutterby with long proboscii -- were happy to make its acquaintance. Along with Gabby's Wish and Fairytale, this is my "keeper."

This dahlia is so pretty it's hard to believe it's a dahlia! It was the first to bloom this year and is still going strong. You won't believe the colors! Even prettier in person. I would highly recommend!

I planted 20 dahlias in my raised beds, and this one was the only one that rotted. I was so sad because this is the one I was most excited about.

As one reviewer already said, the flowers are so beautiful and unique they almost look fake. Earlier blooms looked pinkish like the ones in the photo but current blooms are more of a rich white-streaked magenta, with a warm white collarette and pollen-rich center that bees love. Short vase life but a must-have in the garden.

So excited to add this varietal to my collection. Didnt sprout. Tuber didn’t appear to have an eye. I had probably 20% of my order do this. Tubers are cut differently than other vendors and I think the risk for lack of an eye with this method must be higher based on my experience of how many tubers failed to do anything

Colorful and cute flower. Plant is more upright than bushy in my garden which is to my liking. Last summer it was hot in my garden which was damaging the flowers, but the plant put out flowers none the less. I don't have a solution when there are pushing hot weeks like that. This plant is worth having in the garden.

This dahlia is so beautiful the photos don't do it justice. It has a little bit of a shorter vase life but is so beautiful it makes the tubers worth every penny. Absolutely a must-have for those who love a unique and stunning flower.

A brilliant name for a gorgeous dahlia. I always find several bumble bees on this plant which is a prolific bloomer. It's a great addition to the garden. Always makes me smile as it was my Mom's favorite.

AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL! I have two Bumble Rumbles. The picture does not to begin to describe the stunning colors of this amazing collette, and especially when the sun hits the back of it. Each layer is vibrant and so joyful. The contrast of colors is indescribable. There are so many beautiful layers of color. The outer layer is a bright pink interior witth pink/white veigns on the outside. Next comes the amazing white inner petals for an amazing contrast. The yellow interior pulls it all together. This flower is a WOW for all who visit my garden.

I absolutely love this type of dahlia. This one is much larger than I thought it was going to be and I can't get over how gorgeous it is. It almost looks fake. (Growing in Michigan's Irish Hills)

Bumble Rumble is a flower that draws remarks. Most everyone wants to know what type of flower it is... Mine is slightly less raspberry than shown in the catalog picture, but it’s a lovely, unique flower either way.
