How to Grow
Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

PAT Have grown this variety for over 10 years. It is consistent, long blooming, lots of seed heads and tubers. It can be overshadowed by all of the newer white dec varieties, but should not be overlooked as a garden stalwart.
A
Andrew Perfect medium/Lg white dec. Plant grew 6’ tall. Flowers somewhat clock-faced but who cares? Petals wrapped all the way around to the stem.

SUMAN Lovely medium size shape and beautiful classy flower

LESLIE Brookside Snowball is a pretty white but I found it hard to use in bouquets, as all of its flowers face directly outward. My plants were also quite a bit shorter, maybe 2 1/2 feet. I think I prefer White Lightning for flower arrangements.
