How to Grow

Dahlias are grown from tubers (similar to a bulb, but thin-skinned like a potato). Plant tubers in the springtime, about the same time as you would your vegetable gardens or when the ground is warm enough to work up and play in daily. Plant them in a full sun location (giving them 6-8 hours of direct sunlight) and enjoy blooms all summer long. They will bloom and provide you with color and abundant flowers for cutting and enjoying throughout the summer.
The more you cut a dahlia plant, the more it will bloom. Most cut dahlias will last up to 5 days once cut and treated.

Too tiny. You need a lot of these for the effort to be worth it. The plant is tiny and not very prolific... I got 3 blooms the first year, then this year I guess I planted too late because it didn't grow to full size and never bloomed.

Love this little beauty

This is a great little pompon dahlia. Definitely white but with cool nights it has the lightest hint of pink blushing. Nice tall stems.

love this little pom pon

I fell in love with this little white pom pon that I just had to get a second one for my garden. The first has been great, just wanted more!

Prolific bloomer & long-lasting cut flower

This is one of my favorite Swan Island varieties! The blooms are so small and round and perfectly white, and they last longer than any other dahlia I’ve had as cut flowers. They also bloom like CRAZY!
